This was a fabulous overnight stay in a wonderful B&B where owners Richard & Jan make sure you had everything you need. The B&B itself is ideally situated in being only a short bus / taxi ride into Windsor and also in the other direction the delightful area of Runnymede. It was also perfect for us as we only had a fifteen minute walk to the Oxford Blue Pub where we were dining in the evening. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to be greeted by Tina a friend of the owners due to being away for the day. She started by showing us downstairs where you were free to use the large lounge area to relax in as well as the breakfast area and kitchen.

We were then taken upstairs to our room which was a nice size and had a double bed , tea & coffee making facilities . T.V , wardrobe , fridge , dressing table and an en-suite bathroom with a shower , sink & toilet.

Once Tina had finished not only showing us around but giving us some info on the local area she treated us to a nice cup of tea & slice of homemade cake before leaving us to enjoy our stay.

After a lovely nights rest it was time for breakfast and also to meet owners Richard & Jan for the first time. They are a nice couple and it was a delight to chat to them during our breakfast where you had a choice of cereals , yoghurt , fruit , juices plus a menu of cooked breakfast’s.

Cereals , Yoghurt , Fruit & Juice

Full English Breakfast

This was definitely a wonderful overnight stay and will certainly return one day in the future. So yes I would highly recommend if your looking to visit the area and looking for somewhere to stay then get in touch with the owners of this great little B&B.
