English Wine

Here is just a selection of fabulous English wines that I’ve enjoyed recently and with the produce not only increasing but improving all the time I look forward to tasting even more in the future. I hope you enjoy these recommendations..

Hush Heath Estate in Kent

This 2017 Hush Heath is an excellent wine which is delightfully refreshing with flavours of citrus & apricot

Albury Vineyard In Surrey

A delightful Sparkling Rose with summer fruit aromas. One that I would highly recommend

Gusbourne Estate in Kent

Another great wine from Gusbourne with flavours of lemon and apple this Guinevere 2014 was an absolute delight

Davenport Vineyard in Kent

A fabulous organic wine which was nice and light with peach & floral aromas

Parvills Farm in Essex

This is a delightful wine from a small local vineyard in Epping. Very easy to drink in its own or with fish & poultry dishes

New Hall Vineyard in Essex

A lovely crisp wine with flavours of melon & pineapple

  1. Ah, I’m not too far from Newhall in Essex! Despite this though, I never actually drink English wine – I always go for Argentinean or Chilean instead. I want to broaden my wine experiences though so perhaps I’ll make a trip up to New Hall at some point soon…
