So this was our 6th visit to San Diego and this was the first time we returned to a hotel that we had previously stayed & to be honest it wasn’t a difficult choice. The hotel is in a fantastic location that is the Mission Bay Area that overlooks Fiesta Island & Seaworld San Diego plus perfect for accessibility to location amenities and main highways. But the main reason we decided to return was the relaxing & friendliness feel this hotel offers . Every member of staff from the cleaner , reception . Waiters/Waitresses and the management are very friendly & professional and nothing is to much trouble so that your stay is a memorable one . On this occasion our room was situated on the 5th floor in the Tower which was perfect as it gave you a amazing view of the hotel skyline and a lovely view of the bay . The room was huge with two large double beds and an abundance of room around them . Another reason for staying here is the large pool and area around the pool including Frescos Pool Bar for delicious Smoothies and great lunches . There are plenty of sun beds and also Cabanas that you can hire it also has a couple of fire pits so that you can sit around the pool in the evening. Now onto the food they have a delightful little coffee shop called Aroma where you can choose from a great selection of coffee & teas plus a lovely selection of snacks and if you like a sweet coffee may I suggest the Almond Joy for me it was heaven . They have a nice bar called the Olive Lounge for inside & outside food & drinks and I have to say the food was excellent . They also have a Fine Dining restaurant the Acqua and although we didn’t actually dine there we did manage to sample a couple of the dishes and they were fantastic . Looking forward to returning to San Diego soon and would have to say that this hotel would be top of the list of where to stay so yes if of staying in San Diego then I would highly recommend this hotel
A truly delightful week spent in Lake Garda we stayed in our favourite hotel in Garda (Hotel Excelsior Le Terrazze) We do
like staying in the town of Garda as we find it’s very convenient for getting around the lake due to the Bus Station & Ferry Port . Our first town we visited was the lovely small and relaxing town of Torri Del Benaco with its castle small port and time for a nice stroll along the promenade our next town to visit was Bardolino which we decide as usual to take a leisurely 45 minute walk around the lake taking in the stunning views before arriving. It’s a bigger town for shopping and a large area on the front which is popular for relaxing with an Aperol Spritz especially at Cafe Italia for unbelievable snacks Next was a definite worthwhile trip to Isola Del Garda a glorious little island in the middle of the lake with its amazing castle and beautiful Italian & English gardens plus the most stunning views across the lake so on we go this time by ferry to Sirmione now this town as well as a castle and a grotto is an absolute heaven for Gelato which appears to be every other shop but it is amazing so all this plus the town of Garda which is a lovely town with a delightful long promenade with many shops and restaurants and as I said very convenient for touring around the lake .
A fantastic little hotel in a great location on Lake Garda I think is the best way to start. Now let me begin this was our 3rd visit to this hotel and I will now tell you why . Set just a short walk from the town of Garda it has amazing views of the lake . A warm and friendly Italian welcome is assured not just by the reception team but everyone from management to cleaners . They have rooms overlooking the lake and even our view from our side lake view was stunning . Every section of this hotel is run so professionally & without any fuss whatsoever from the restaurant which well organised by manager Vito and his team of young waitresses who are so friendly & professional to say the least. The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing and truly Italian from the amazing Salad Bar to the 3 Course Al a carte served at your table . Onto the bar which is at the front of the hotel and ideal for a pre dinner drink as you can sit outside and enjoy the view and great service from Michela and also a nice place to relax after your evening meal . The hotel also treats it’s guests to a regular Afternoon Tea & cakes a great way relax after a day sightseeing round the lake or if you’ve just been lazing around the pool before the evenings festivities which all adds to the true friendly Italian nature of this hotel. As I said at the beginning it’s in a great location where the ferry port is only a couple of minutes walk away and th bus station only a few minutes further . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning as soon as I can 🇮🇹#LakeGarda #Garda #Italy
A grand hotel in every was it stands out with its presence along the Tuscan Coast in Viareggio . You are greeted by the friendliest welcome from the management which generates through the entire staff at the hotel . The food is excellent the cocktails at the bar are fantastic . The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained . Believe me it is such a pleasure to stay here
